We were disgusted this week that national TV treasure the character Ian Beale was locked up for the murder of Archie Mitchell. Ian Beale is the longest running cast member of the UK's favourite soap Eastenders and is the backbone of Walford and Albert Square. His businesses keep the community fed, his entrepreneurial spirit inspires the youth and his dad Pete used to sell fruit and Veg on the market!! For all these reasons alone this man should be freed. Yesterday it was Mistajam's 21st birthday...erm plus 6! We had ballons in the studio, cake and good party tunes (it's just ashame that Jam had to provide the tunes). To celebrate in style we surprised Jam by getting his chums Shy FX and Donaeo on the show.

We had the privilege of hooking up with WWE Divas Maria & Kelly Kelly to discuss all things wrestling. We did our absolute best to stay professional during the interview although it was very difficult due to the amount of buffness that was in the room. During the interview we found out how hard it was to be one of the 19 female wrestlers in the WWE, what it was like constantly being on the road and any possible Diva/Wrestler hook ups. We also gave them a challenge in the form of the ultimate Ace & Vis Wrestler Quiz.

On Todays Breakfast show we had Romeo and Megaman from the So solid Crew. They spoke about the groups return to the game, their influence on the scene today, the importance of videos and rumours of dating R&B superstars. They even gave us a exclusive track from the forthcoming album set to drop in spring.

For the 1st week of 2010 it's only right that Mystro's "2009 UK Rap Up" - which completely does what it says on the tin: wraps up 2009's big UK incidents/entertainment moments into one easy to digest 6 minute package - is our first Jam Hot of 2010.

Mystro passed through 1Xtra Towers last night and performed the track in full for the very first time - no mean feat for a 6 minute track with no hook! The whole thing was captured on my camera phone (or video phone as Beyoncé would say) and the geniuses Online Al & Charlie put it together:

Ace & Vis tips for 2010 DAY 1

Ace & Vis will be sitting in for Trevor & Gemma for the next 2 weeks. All this week on the 1Xtra Breakfast show they will be sharing with us their tips for 2010 in the world of TV, Sports and film. On today's show they had actress Lenora Crichlow star of BBC programmes 'Being Human' and 'Material girl'. Listen back to hear Ace & Vis test her acting abilities and see if she can act her way out of any situation?

DAY 2

For todays tip for 2010 Ace and Vis hooked up with Actor/Director/Writer and Bafta winner Noel Clarke. Listen back to hear him talk about his great 2009, the hit films Adulthood & Kidulthood and how he plans to top it all this year. He also had time to fit Ace & Vis in for a spontaneus casting.

DAY 3

On todays show Ace and Vis caught up with Kat Deeley and Arlene Phillips from BBC programme "So you think you can dance". Listen back to this classic interview where they discuss dissillusioned dancers, nasty Nigel and Ace schools Kat and Arlene to the world of skanking.

On todays show Vis caught up with Arsenal and Welsh international Midfielder Aaron Ramsey. He is destined to do big things on the pitch this year so Vis caught up withhim to find out what life was like as a 17 year old in the premiership.

For todays Ace & Vis tip for 2010 we spoke to actor Ricky Norwood. He plays "fatboy" in the new BBC Eastenders spinoff E20. The new series set in around Albert Square, Walford. Since he last gave us a video exclusive for his last single 'Slow Songs' with Mike Skinner, he's signed a deal with groundbreaking record label XL and finished his debut album 'Let 'Em Have It' due for release in April.

Featuring Atlanta's finest BOB (who we tipped for big things a year ago) here's the video for "Don't Go There" - it was an exclusive to us but thanks to the bootleggers - it's been ripped and put on YouTube too. Digital pirates eh? Let's hope they don't bootleg the album and actually support the artist they obviously like...
